AI profiles keep up when resume data changes
A profile interrupted by newer resume data can continue from the latest saved version instead of remaining pending.
Continue from the latest saved data
If a resume or candidate details change while an already requested AI profile is processing, RecruitIQ protects the newer data and schedules a fresh profile from the latest saved version. This happens automatically for supported background profile requests; you do not need to upload the same resume again.
Nearby edits are collected before the next attempt. If a completed profile is verified to already cover the current resume and details, RecruitIQ reuses that profile and the old attempt stops showing as pending. If a current profile cannot be confirmed, the candidate needs attention.
Your cancellation and permissions still apply
Cancelling a profile stops its automatic continuation. A newer profile request takes precedence, and automatic intake profiles still follow your account’s current processing policy. Existing saved profiles are preserved when a newer attempt cannot finish.
When a candidate still needs attention
Automatic continuation is bounded. Repeated source changes, unavailable resume data or changed permissions can stop processing with a status that needs attention. Review the candidate’s current resume and details before requesting another profile.
If processing is interrupted and RecruitIQ cannot confirm whether generation finished, it preserves the saved profile and asks for attention instead of automatically paying for the same generation again. Confirmed generation errors still use the normal limited retries.
This protects supported attempts processed after the update. It does not automatically replay historical uploads or repair older pending records. Saving a file, completing an AI profile and making that resume searchable remain separate steps.
