Know when your AI Search is already running
A compact progress stack, clearer duplicate feedback and an animated completion notice keep you informed while AI Search works.
One search, clear feedback
Clicking AI Search with the same request while it is starting, queued, running or retrying shows “This search is already in progress.” above its loading pill. The notice disappears after a few seconds and also works when the pill is minimized. Your original search keeps running; an identical active search is reused.
The progress pill shows up to 20 characters of your query and stays in place when the server accepts the search, without popping up a second time. When results are ready, it becomes a teal-edged completion notice with a checkmark, candidate count, query and View results action. Dismiss is also available. The animation respects reduced-motion preferences.
Multiple notifications stay in a compact stack above the bottom navigation, without spreading apart on hover. Opening a saved search starts with a loading view rather than briefly showing the empty new-search form. Your selected run is loaded without restarting its search.
The Candidates-page launcher uses your search text, not the list filters. AI Search requests that specify a different job, location or result limit are distinct. Completed searches are not treated as active duplicates. The information popover now includes “Time: ~1 Min” as an approximate estimate; actual time can vary with search size, queueing and evidence verification.
