A second look at candidates with the same name

An AI review compares resume evidence when a candidate has the same name as an existing record.

Keep distinct people separate

Uploading a candidate from Dashboard or Candidates, or importing a resume through Talent Inbox or WhatsApp can trigger an AI comparison when the only duplicate signal is a shared name. It reads both stored resumes and compares contact details, named employers, and career timelines. General similarities such as office duties do not by themselves make two applicants the same person.

A high-confidence different-person result can continue through normal candidate creation, including duplicate protection. The AI does not merge or overwrite an existing candidate. Uncertain results, unreadable files, multiple possible matches, or shared contact details remain in review.

What to expect

This additional check runs only for eligible name conflicts and can add several seconds to intake. When a resume needs review, the upload confirms it was saved for review and no new candidate was created. WhatsApp also replies when a resume is saved for review, so you can distinguish it from a created candidate. Existing pending reviews are not automatically replayed.
