Assign the right company without leaving the job workflow
Jobs without a client now offer an Add Company path for selecting an existing company or creating and assigning a new one.
Unassigned jobs say what needs to happen next
When a job does not have a company, Job Details now shows Add Company instead of a confidential-client placeholder. RecruitIQ keeps the job unassigned until a recruiter explicitly chooses or creates a real company.
Choose Add Company to search the organization’s existing companies and assign one to the job. The job and company are linked by the company record, so a similar company name cannot create an accidental match.
Create a company with the job already in context
If the organization has no companies yet, RecruitIQ opens the manual Add Company drawer directly. Recruiters can also choose Create new company from the company picker when other companies already exist.
The drawer shows which job will receive the new company. After Create succeeds, RecruitIQ assigns the company and returns to the originating job.
Explicit assignment protects existing job data
RecruitIQ verifies that the company and job belong to the same organization. If another teammate assigns a company before the flow finishes, RecruitIQ preserves that assignment instead of silently replacing it.
This workflow does not guess a client from a job description, publish a private company name, or create a placeholder company. A recruiter remains responsible for selecting the correct client record.
