Automatic resume intake can finish while its AI profile is progressing

Talent Inbox and WhatsApp can finish saving the same resume while background profile progress updates continue, with source changes still protected.

Keep using your usual intake flow

New resumes arriving through Talent Inbox or WhatsApp use this automatically. When an AI profile records a compatible progress update at the same moment intake is finishing, RecruitIQ checks that it is still the same candidate, resume and intake attempt, then makes a small, bounded retry of that finishing step.

That retry does not upload the resume again or start the AI profile again. Saving the resume, completing its AI profile and making it searchable remain separate steps; check the candidate’s processing status before treating every step as finished.

Edits and replacement resumes stay protected

A recruiter edit, a replacement resume, a different intake attempt or an unavailable candidate still stops an outdated finishing step. A full profile update that changes candidate details can also require a later attempt. RecruitIQ proceeds only when it can verify the background change is compatible; missing evidence is not treated as permission to overwrite a record.

Clearer evidence when support is needed

When a finishing step still fails, support alerts can identify the recorded background operation and the field names it wrote, without including resume text or contact details. A written field may have kept its earlier value. Older failures may still have unknown details. A cleared alert means the condition stopped appearing; it does not by itself prove every processing step finished.

This update applies to future supported attempts. It does not replay historical messages or repair older candidate records. If an import still needs attention, check the saved candidate and contact support before uploading another copy.
