Download a resume from its profile or preview
Save the original resume using a visible download button on the candidate profile or beside the preview section menu.
Download directly from the profile or preview
On a candidate profile, choose Download resume beside Resume to save the current resume. On smaller screens the download button uses an icon with a Download resume label for assistive technology. In the resume drawer, choose Download resume beside the section dropdown. It stays available when you switch between Resume, Experience and Notes, and matches the dropdown’s compact height.
You can also choose the three-dot menu immediately to the left of Close and select Download resume. Download resume appears first, followed by Open in new tab when that option is available. You can reach the buttons and menu with the keyboard and choose an action with Enter.
The download saves the original file in its saved format and uses the saved filename when available. When previewing an older resume from the candidate’s resume history, it downloads that selected version. Downloading uses your existing resume access permissions.
You can download while the preview is loading or if the document cannot be displayed. If no file is available, the action is disabled. A failed download reports the problem and keeps the preview open so you can try again. Changing the selected resume or closing the preview cancels an unfinished download.
