Open Candidates with less waiting at startup

RecruitIQ prepares your saved view and candidates together, reuses recently confirmed settings, and loads optional activity details after the rows.

Prepare your first candidate view

Open RecruitIQ as usual. After the dashboard settles, the app begins preparing your Candidates view in the background. Pointing to or focusing Candidates in the main menu can also start that preparation before you open the page. There is no new setting or button to use.

Opening the main menu gives Candidates preparation priority. Jobs and other pages begin preparing when you point to or focus their menu item, rather than every destination starting at once. You can still choose a page immediately; preparation does not hold up navigation.

Preparation uses your saved default view and selected fields. Opening a link with its own search, filters, or sort keeps those choices. The page reuses the same candidate request when it is already running or still fresh, so navigation can continue with work that has already started.

Your saved view and the first matching candidates now prepare together. This removes a separate wait before the list starts loading while keeping the right filters and fields in place.

During the same signed-in session, a recently confirmed saved view can also be reused briefly when the candidate list needs a new request. Changing a saved view retires that preparation. A fresh sign-in or an older view still needs a fresh read; the app does not assume that your settings stay unchanged.

Keep your account and view intact

RecruitIQ also reuses verified account information from startup once the sign-in checks have finished and the account matches. Your organization, record permissions, onboarding, and subscription checks still apply. Switching accounts keeps each account’s candidate data separate.

Saved views, filters, sorting, and additional pages continue to work as usual. Prepared data is refreshed when needed; this change does not create a separate candidate list or change candidate records.

Candidate rows can appear before the optional job titles and links beside their last activity. Those details fill in after the jobs have been checked against your organization. If they cannot be loaded, the candidate rows stay usable and no unverified job link is shown. The list order and your chosen view stay the same.

What can still take time

A fresh sign-in, a direct link, a slow connection, or opening Candidates before preparation finishes can still show a loading state. If your saved view cannot be loaded, Candidates asks you to try again instead of showing a different view. A link that fully specifies its filters and fields can still show that exact view while saved preferences are unavailable. Loading time varies with the connection and the amount of work needed; this update does not promise a fixed opening time.
