Use consistent candidate tags across every search
New candidate profiles now choose from one shared recruiting-tag catalog instead of creating a new mix of skills and labels for every résumé.
Choose tags recruiters actually search
When RecruitIQ generates a candidate profile, it now selects a small number of approved global tags that describe durable placement categories and industries. A full-stack developer can receive Software Development; a dentist can receive Dental and Healthcare.
Technologies and generic résumé phrases stay in keywords instead. React, TypeScript, Internal Operations, Automated Testing, Team Leadership, and Remote Work do not become automatic candidate tags merely because those words appear on a résumé.
Keep the catalog useful instead of endlessly growing
RecruitIQ validates every AI-selected tag against the shared catalog. Unsupported labels are rejected, and a conservative title-based fallback can recover an approved built-in category when the résumé clearly names the role. The model cannot silently create a new global synonym.
An internal recruiter can deliberately create a missing tag from Candidate Overview. RecruitIQ reuses names case-insensitively, makes the tag available to every organization, and considers it during future profile generation. The built-in list is available immediately when the picker opens; recruiter-created additions load in the background.
Start cleanly with future profiles
The controlled tag selection applies when a new profile is generated or an existing profile is deliberately regenerated. RecruitIQ does not automatically rewrite or backfill existing candidate records, and older organization-only tags stay local unless a recruiter deliberately recreates one globally.
Creating a global tag adds it only to the candidate being edited. It does not attach that tag to other candidates, add a candidate to a job, submit a candidate, or replace recruiter review.
