From job description to live role

A practical look at turning a client brief into a reviewed job, a branded posting, and something recruiters can share.

Most roles begin as documents

A client sends a Word document. Someone copies the title, location, compensation, responsibilities, and requirements into the ATS. Another person rewrites the same details for the public job board.

The better workflow begins with the document your client already gave you. RecruitIQ accepts PDF, DOC, DOCX, text, and Markdown job descriptions and uses them to prefill a draft for review.

Review stays in the loop

Document import should speed up the first draft, not silently publish an interpretation. The recruiter still reviews the extracted title, location, employment details, work mode, and description before saving.

That review step matters when a client name needs to remain private or when the public wording should differ from the internal brief.

One role, several useful outputs

Once the role is ready, the same structured record can support a branded public job board and editable role graphics for sharing. The agency is no longer rebuilding the same opening in three disconnected tools.

  • Import the brief and review the draft.
  • Choose what candidates and partners can see.
  • Publish the role and create a shareable graphic.
