Keep recruiter credit on shared job links

Applications through your shared job links now keep your recruiter credit in Sourced by, including links copied for a job board or shared on WhatsApp.

Share the link from RecruitIQ

Copy a share link or share paragraph from a job, copy its public link, or share selected jobs from the Jobs page. Your link includes a reference to the team member who shared it. Links copied from public job-board settings also carry your reference.

Paste the complete link into your WhatsApp status, a message, or another channel. Keep the reference at the end of the URL so RecruitIQ can connect the application to the sharer.

See who brought in the candidate

When someone applies through that link, RecruitIQ checks that the referenced team member is active and belongs to the job’s organization. The application keeps that reference, and a newly sourced candidate shows that person in Sourced by.

The reference stays with the link as applicants browse from a shared job board to a job and complete the application. Messaging link previews do not consume it.

Boundaries to know about

An existing candidate’s recorded sourcing credit is preserved. Sharing a different job with that person does not transfer their original credit.

Untracked links keep their usual behavior. Invalid references and references to another organization are ignored. External-recruiter and public referral links retain their existing rules.

This applies to future applications. Historical candidates are not automatically reassigned, and a link reference identifies the sharer rather than proving which channel the applicant used.
