Keep new candidate Gmail conversations in Activity
Opt in to add new matched Gmail messages to candidate Activity automatically, while keeping discovered correspondence private to your account.
New mail from now on, in the candidate profile
When this feature is available for your account, open Add → Email sync settings in candidate Activity and turn on sync for your connected Gmail account. New incoming messages and messages you send in Gmail can then appear beside notes and stage moves without leaving the candidate page open.
Synchronization starts when you opt in. It does not import older email. If Gmail history expires, Activity asks you to start again from that moment instead of silently skipping messages or importing the past. You can turn correspondence sync off without disconnecting Gmail from other RecruitIQ features.
Automatically discovered correspondence is private to the connected mailbox owner. Other organization members and support impersonation cannot view or reply to it. RecruitIQ matches exact candidate addresses in message headers; ambiguous addresses, aliases, Bcc, spam, trash, drafts, attachments, Outlook, and candidate creation are not included in this Gmail-first version.
The feature may not be available until your organization completes secure Gmail notification setup. Existing manually started RecruitIQ email conversations continue to work under their existing visibility rules.
