Open the candidate’s email Activity

Open a candidate imported through Talent Inbox, then open the original intake email in Activity to read its subject, sender, recipients, plain-text body, and permitted attachments. Reading the email does not assign the candidate to a job or send a reply.

This replaces the earlier email-as-note workflow. New captured intake emails are email Activity entries, not duplicate Notes. Existing historical notes remain unchanged.

Capture and access boundaries

Original-email capture must be enabled by your administrator. It applies to eligible new automatic intake after activation; manual historical scans and older messages are not automatically backfilled. If capture is unavailable, ordinary resume intake can continue without adding a replacement note.

Saved evidence remains subject to candidate and mailbox permissions. Mixed or uncertain messages may expose the full body only to their mailbox owner, while other authorized viewers see only permitted candidate-associated evidence. Missing or truncated content is identified explicitly.
