Scan current employment from the Candidates table
See a resume-supported current title and company beside each candidate without opening every profile.
See the current role while scanning candidates
The Candidates table now includes a roomier Current Employment column. For most teams it begins immediately after Location, while an existing organization-specific layout can keep it nearer Candidate. Recruiters can drag the column anywhere they prefer, and their saved manual order remains authoritative when they return.
When a resume supports an ongoing role, the cell shows one compact line such as Marketing Director at Samsung.
The candidate profile and Resume tab keep their existing detail. This column is a scanning aid for the main Candidates table, not a second employment-history editor.
Reuse the employment evidence already in the resume profile
RecruitIQ first looks for one complete work-history entry whose dates explicitly say Present, Current, Now, or another ongoing marker. A complete current title-and-company pair extracted by the resume profile can confirm or provide the value when the work-history dates are incomplete.
A missing end date by itself is not treated as proof that a job is current. The title and company must both be supported before anything appears in the table.
Leave unsupported employment blank
If RecruitIQ cannot support both the current title and company, the Current Employment cell stays blank. It does not show a Not available label, promote the most recent past employer, or infer that the candidate is unemployed.
Older candidates are not rewritten in one automatic platform-wide migration. Their value can be projected during future profile generation or through a deliberately scoped maintenance run.
