Upgrade from a RecruitIQ free trial with Stripe Checkout

Organization owners can review RecruitIQ billing and start a $150-per-user monthly subscription through Stripe Checkout.

An explicit 30-day free trial

A free trial is assigned only after the organization and start date are explicitly approved. New organizations and newly invited team members do not receive a trial automatically; accounts without an approved trial show No plan instead.

An approved trial lasts 30 days from its saved start date. RecruitIQ calculates the end date once and shows the exact start and end dates under Billing settings.

The sidebar free-trial chip appears only while an explicitly assigned trial is active. Users with no approved trial, a future trial date, an expired trial, or a paid subscription do not see the chip. Organization owners can open Settings and choose Billing to review the plan and continue to Stripe Checkout.

Monthly billing by paid user

RecruitIQ is $150 per user each month. Stripe Checkout lets the organization choose its paid-user quantity before confirming the subscription. Stripe handles the payment form so RecruitIQ does not collect or store card details directly. If you have a promotion code, choose Add promotion code in Stripe Checkout before subscribing. Stripe checks the code’s eligibility and displays the discount before you confirm.

Settings now includes Billing for organization owners. The page shows plan status, paid-user quantity, renewal date, and a Stripe billing-management action after a subscription starts.

Billing now keeps your billing cycle, paid users, and renewal date together above an invoice-history table. Owners and administrators can review each invoice’s date, amount, and status, download the Stripe invoice PDF, and load older invoices. Choose Manage plan to update payment details or cancel at the end of the paid period. A successful Stripe return confirms your subscription before updating the access screen, so the trial-ended wall does not flash back while payment is being verified.

Cancel with context, or resume before access ends

Owners and administrators can cancel a paid plan from Billing after providing a reason of at least 10 characters. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period, so RecruitIQ shows the exact access end date and a days-remaining countdown instead of ending access immediately.

A scheduled cancellation can be reversed with Resume with Stripe any time before the paid period ends. Stripe Checkout confirms and saves the payment method before RecruitIQ restores automatic renewal, without creating an overlapping subscription. After the subscription has fully ended, Subscribe again starts a new secure Stripe Checkout subscription.

Sandbox and launch boundaries

For selected organization accounts, a trial-ended screen appears automatically one second after the signed-in workspace loads, across dashboard, jobs, and settings pages. It uses a 99%-opaque white background and a single Upgrade Now button showing $150 per user per month. The button opens Stripe directly, with one user selected for a new subscription. The screen cannot be dismissed with Escape or a background click, and it clears automatically when the confirmed billing status grants paid access. The initial billing decision loads with your account, so a successful account load can show the trial-ended screen without a separate plan-check wait. Billing is checked again in the background while the workspace is open, so a confirmed payment clears the screen. The rollout can cover an explicitly selected organization and its signed-in teammates. It does not apply to all organizations or change trial dates. This CRM rollout does not add a payment screen to the separate external recruiter portal. The paid demo account now follows normal paid access, including when cancellation is scheduled for the end of its paid period.

The initial connection runs in Stripe sandbox mode. Test Checkout sessions do not move real money, and sandbox subscriptions do not activate real paid access.

Live payments require a verified Stripe account, live product and price, secure production credentials, and a production webhook. RecruitIQ shows the sandbox boundary while the payment flow is being validated.
