Keep the original intake email with the candidate
Read original Talent Inbox messages and access their captured attachments from candidate Activity when enabled for your workspace.
Original email, not a copied note
When source-email capture is enabled, future automatic Talent Inbox imports from Gmail and Outlook add an Email received · Talent Inbox entry to candidate Activity. Open it to see the original sender, recipients, subject, received time and readable message text. Job-board messages retain the job board as their sender.
Attachments appear below the message. Preview supported PDF and image files, or download permitted original files. Original Word documents are downloads in this first version. Unsupported, oversized or temporarily unavailable files show an explanation. Message text and file capture have limits; any truncation is identified.
Privacy and availability
Messages with multiple candidates or unresolved files restrict the full source to its mailbox owner. Other authorized candidate viewers see only conclusively associated files. This feature does not share other private mailbox conversations, start email correspondence sync, or provide a reply action for intake messages.
Capture is rollout-controlled and is not active in every workspace. It applies to future automatic imports after activation, not historical backfills. Existing notes remain unchanged. Only actual email attachments are captured; cloud links are not downloaded automatically. A candidate import can succeed while its email files are still being saved.
