Plan your week with Google Calendar in RecruitIQ
See your own week, create events and add Google Meet from Calendar.
Edit directly from your week
Click an editable meeting you organize to open its prefilled editor directly. Change its details and choose Save changes when ready, or Cancel to leave it untouched. Read-only events still open their details. Event detail times show hours and minutes without seconds.
Your week beside your recruiting work
Open Calendar, select Connect Calendar, and choose Google Calendar from the dropdown. Google Calendar is the only provider available for now. The calendar grid, week navigation and meeting controls stay hidden until your connection is confirmed. Calendar requests its own permission; an existing Gmail connection alone does not grant Calendar access. The first release shows your primary Google Calendar in a seven-day hourly week, with all-day events and recurring occurrences. Times use your browser’s timezone.
Use the previous and next week arrows to navigate, and the small refresh icon to retrieve changes made in Google. Last refreshed shows the last successful refresh for the displayed week; an unsuccessful attempt does not advance that time. Returning to the page also refreshes events. Google Calendar remains the source of truth; this release does not promise instant background synchronization.
Create meetings with clear invitations
Choose New meeting or an hourly slot. Start with the meeting name and date/time range, then add people by email. Each person has a checked Send to this user option; uncheck it to leave them out of the invitation list. Add a Link, Notes or Google Meet as needed. Creating a meeting sends Google invitations to checked people. New events use private visibility, but invited attendees can see their event details.
Meet requires support on your Google calendar. Choose Google Meet link to generate a real, shareable link before saving the meeting. The first use asks for an additional Google Meet permission. Your draft returns after authorization. Creating the link does not create a Calendar event or send invitations; the link remains a standalone Google Meet space if you cancel the draft. Click a meeting you organize and choose Edit meeting to change its name, times, guests, location or notes. Save changes updates the existing meeting and notifies guests, preserving its Meet link. If it changed elsewhere, refresh before editing again. Use Google Calendar for all-day events, recurring meetings, cancellations and meetings organized by someone else.
Personal calendar boundaries
This is your signed-in account’s calendar, with no team or project filters. Approved support access through Switch User can connect or reconnect Google Calendar for the selected user, then review that user’s week, move between weeks, refresh, and open event details in read-only mode. Before allowing access at Google, support should confirm both the selected RecruitIQ user and the Google account chosen in Google’s account picker. Support cannot create or edit meetings or create a Google Meet link while switched. Secondary calendars, Outlook, Zoom, scheduling links and team availability are outside this first release. Existing Gmail connections are preserved.
