Search around a ZIP even when its location is new
Radius search now looks up a missing ZIP location and tells you when a location could not be resolved, instead of showing a misleading empty result.
Keep using the same radius filter
In Candidates V2, enter a US ZIP code and choose a search radius as usual. If its location is already available, RecruitIQ uses it straight away. If it is missing, RecruitIQ now looks up that exact US ZIP before searching for candidates nearby. No extra setting or button is needed.
A location problem is different from no matches
If the location service is unavailable or cannot confirm the exact ZIP, the page explains that the ZIP could not be looked up and lets you try again. It no longer reports zero candidates when the location lookup prevented the search from running. A nearby ZIP or a whole city is not substituted for the ZIP you entered.
What the filter covers
The radius filter still uses candidates’ saved location coordinates. This update does not fill missing candidate addresses or change their saved locations. A successful lookup can still return no matches when no candidates with usable locations meet your filters.
